John DeFrees said... My 20 year old daughter was arrested for DWI. She lives at home. She may need an SR22. We have been insured with State Farm in Texas for over 20 years. I have a guaranteed renewal policy. Should I request an SR22 on her existing policy? I dont want to get canceled. The lawyer has suggested getting a non texas pool insurance for my daughter while her license is under suspension and she is hopefully driving with an occupational license. Need some advice and rate information. I dont even know if state farm will issue an sr22 in texas. The lawyer also suggested a non-operators policy. I am wondering if he meant non-owner, as the car she drives is not in her name.
