How Snapshot Works
- Ask an Insurance Plus agent if Snapshot is right for you and sign up when you buy your Progressive policy.
- Your Snapshot device will come in the mail along with easy instructions. Plug the device in and drive.
- The device records driving behaviors like how you drive, how much you drive, and when you drive, and sends that information to Progressive.
- Log in to your policy on ProgressiveAgent.com to view your driving data and see how much you'll save.
Snapshot is completely voluntary and you can opt out of Snapshot at any time.
What the Snapshot Device Does and Doesn't Record
The Snapshot device records driving behaviors such as how, how much and when you drive your car.
The device doesn't record your location or destination, whether you are exceeding the speed limit, or who is driving.
We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
Snapshot Availability
Snapshot is currently available through independent agents in the following states: Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Texas.
